tivedens theme park

In the video Tivedens Theme Park we get to follow the construction and planning of a theme park outside of Laxå, Sweden. The chainsaw sculptor Sören Nicklasson has, together with local entrepreneurs, planned for the construction of a centre for recreation and amusement in the outskirts of town along the highway. There are plans for a holiday village, restaurants and a recreation facility, all in shapes of oversized tree stumps and fallen tree trunks. The video describes the park in an early phase where nothing is as of yet carried out and the park vision is depicted through short text fragments which describes the future park facilities mixed with images from the location.
